The ACBL, Bridge Base Online and Jay Whipple's CommonGame are now collaborating to help those of us who play in clubs to keep our partnerships and skills up while we do our part to abide by the current quarantine.  The games are listed under the new “Support Your Local Club Virtual Games” program.

Play in the InterCity Bridge Club PRIVATE GAMES!

Effective May 3rd, we are now conducting an InterCity Bridge Club LIMITED (0-350) virtual club game on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1.15pm ET.

These gameswill be like playing in our own virtual auditorium with all the familiar faces from the InterCity Bridge Club and Sarasota. Black points will be awarded. Each game is 18 boards with 7 minutes hands. And 75% of the game fee of $5.00 will directly benefit our club!

BBO has produced a pictorial explanation of all the details setting up an account, registering for a game, and the things you would need to play during the game.  It’s a good review for people have been playing for a while, and a step-by-step instruction for people who have never played. CLICK HERE to view the tutorial on your computer or you can download the PDF document onto your computer. And as always, if you have any questions, please contact our director Jeff Nunes.

The team of ACBL Tournament Directors will be hosting regular drop-in help desk sessions on Zoom about completing and posting a convention card on BBO over the next few weeks.

While the focus of these workshops will be convention cards, if time permits, our TDs will be happy to help with any aspect of playing online. Click here to learn more.
